Yes, comicsfans, it's almost here! Number 7 is set to debut in the middle of September. I'll have an availability list on the BAC Facebook page. Also be on the lookout...Bone Boy #4 is out; THC's #2 and #5 are going to be reprinted, so we'll have copies for those who want them. Also, I have a sneaking suspicion that the THC 1-5 Trade Paperback might be coming soon...! But we'll see. Oh, and don't forget...a certain coterie of conniving cats will be making their second appearance in December...more information, as to their whereabouts and the content of their diabolical schemes, is unavailable at this time...I'll keep you posted. That's right, comicsfans, The Human Cannonball is launching yet another screaming projectile into the aether. This time there's a g-g-g-GIRL  involved! As a character, even! What will she do? What will she say? How will she reinforce the values of patriarchal society?? Who knows!! Who cares!!! You'll find out in March, so keep your darn shirt on...!!!!! Geez, calm down... spaz ... Mucho apologies to Mucha. I'll letcha know when, where, and how to get your hands on a copy. Rick Out!

It seems like everyone's shutting down their blogs but me. Let us pause to reflect on the unfortunate demise of the personal blog. (Voice of Nelson: Ha-ha! ) But seriously, folks, I'm sure once this whole "Recession" fad has faded in a couple of weeks and people get back to work, there'll be plenty of leisure time to share our thoughts, opinions, and updates in the wide and wacky world of Web Logging. In the meantime, I will be continuing to upload sketches and such; I am also working on a large post about my comic book creative process, which should be up in the next couple of weeks. Personally, I find this time of apocalyptic economic catastrophe to be the perfect time to kick back, relax, and take advantage of the large vacuum in the blogsphere. Til next time, Rick Out.

Howdy gang. Just another monthly update, to make it look like I keep up on this blog. Maybe someday I'll get back to regular posting. Maybe. Meh. At any rate, not much to report. I'm busy with my Portfolio class for my graphic design degree, and I'm actually doing some cool stuff. Aeolus #3 is slowly, ever so slowly getting done; just bummed out with the amount of work involved: doing all the penciling, inking, scanning, and computer-editing yourself is a beast. I mean, I did it all for the first two, but this next one is twice as long, and I've got a serious motivation deficit going here. Let's see, what else...have to do the next page for Fight or Flight ; looks like we may have a hard copy in the works at some point (not promising anything, here). Have some other projects I want to start, maybe, kind of. Just ideas bouncing around in the old noggin, things I'll get momentarily excited about. Perhaps it's better just to let them gestate for ...
